The 6 Figure Virtual Assistant
As a six figure VA, last year was a pivotal time for me. My income was steady, making the same amount in 2010 as I did in 2009–BUT I worked less and had more fun.
I shifted my practice from offering standard VA services to becoming a certified Online Business Manager and including some packages like my 1ShoppingCart> Infusionsoft transfer services. Read the rest of this entry »

How Kathy Got Her Groove Back and Learned to Attract the Rare and Elusive High-Paying Clients
When I started my Virtual Assistant (VA) business, there was no training available to teach me how to get VA clients. Instead, I took advice from internet marketing gurus and tried their tips to bring in clients including:
- Direct mail – I sent out hundreds of postcards and letters.
- Advertisements in trade journal – I advertised in a wide variety of magazines for real estate agents.
- Flyers – I mailed flyers to real estate agencies all over the U.S.A. and Canada.
None of these traditional (and expensive) marketing methods worked. Read the rest of this entry »
